Switching and dimming of lighting through desktop web browsers

The Metro Web Browser package enables user control of lighting and other building services via desktop PC and comprises hardware and software.

A Metro Web Browser server connects to the building IT network and monitors lighting commands entered via desktop PCs. The unique IP address of each workstation is matched through an online database to lights in the area so that users do not need to enter a location-related or other specific code. The Metro Web Browser software enables drag-and-drop matching of PC IP addresses to individual lights or groups of lights.
